CDE Global Headquarters, Cookstown
This building is designed as a two-storey reinforced concrete frame with flat slabs at first floor and roof level. Ground floor slab will be ground bearing with typical pad and strip foundations, all supported on vibro-treated ground. The overall floor area is approximately 50,000 sq. ft., and is used as offices, formal and informal meeting rooms, board rooms, canteen, and associated uses. Finishes to main structural elements are predominantly exposed Architectural in-situ concrete throughout. Central circulation and ground floor reception areas are double height atrium space with double roof lights over. The building’s internal circulation is controlled using a combination of natural cross ventilation and BMS.
Works at our CDE Global site in Cookstown have now been successfully handed over to the Client which will now become their headquarters. Congratulations on a job well done by our Site Team!
On this project we utilised BIM level 2 principles to plan, co-ordanate the services and visualise the construction of this project.
