At Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd we understand that protecting the environment for future generations is more important now than it ever has been. We have a duty to deliver our works in the most sustainable way possible and as a means of achieving this we operate an Environmental Management System which is 3rd party accredited by NQA Certification Limited to ISO 14001:2015 international standards.

We believe that sustainable best practice should be adopted from the very inception of a project and we work with clients to integrate this throughout all stages for which we are responsible, from material selection and energy efficient design to construction methodology.

We develop detailed, bespoke Environmental Management Plans (EMP’s) which are tailored to the unique requirements of every project and based upon site specific Environmental Risk Assessments and Impact studies which are undertaken by our HSQE Team. As a minimum each EMP outlines the management and control measures to be implemented to mitigate pollution and to reduce waste, maximise recycling and conserve natural resources.

Our philosophy and approach can be demonstrated through the number of projects which have achieved a BREEAM excellent rating and awards including Old See House, Antrim Road, Belfast and Banbridge Community Treatment & Care Centre project.
